FAQ
I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Anything within 50 miles is fully covered. For travel beyond that, I have two easy ways I charge travel — I’ll explain everything in your inquiry so it’s simple, transparent, and aligned with your needs.
II. What if we are awkward in front of the camera?
You won’t be for long. I create a comfortable space where you can just be yourselves—no forced poses, just real connection.

III. What are we paying for?
You are paying for the years of experience, equipment, & time i spend away from my family planning, traveling to, shooting & editing the image's. It is a combination of the time invested into your specific shoot, as well as the years of learning, classes & the cost of keeping my business running.

IV. How long does it take to recieve the photos after my session and how will those be delivered?
When you book with me, I ask for your email. Once i have finished your gallery, you will get an email invite to join & view your gallery.
I do send a sneak peek within 3 days of our shoot via email or text. The full gallery is sent in a range, pending on the seasons demands. I aim for 2-4 weeks for any hour long session. For weddings, I aim for 3-5 weeks.
V. What should we wear?
I would encourage neutrals, jeans or earthy tones! I have a blog post that digs into details - check it out! It is titled, "Let's Talk Outfits - But Make It Intentional"
As far as WHAT -- i would say it's up to you! If you go more casual, your pictures will look more fun, playful & cute. If you come dressed up, they will probably look more moody & romantic!
VI. When should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book 9–12 months in advance. The sooner, the better—especially for peak seasons.
VII. What does a retainer mean, and how does this apply when booking?
A non-refundable retainer holds your date—20% for weddings and 30% for all other sessions.
I’m happy to set up a payment plan if needed, and the remaining balance is simply due the week of your wedding or session.
VIII. Do you deliver RAW photos?
RAW files aren’t available. The editing process is where your photos take on the nostalgic, earthy warmth I’m known for — it’s part of the art and the story. I deliver only fully edited images, thoughtfully curated just for you.
